Elysian: Ice, Divine, Ebony, or Elysian King Shard Dancer was born in the month of July during the annual meteor showers. His mother named him for it, as the cub resembled an aurora dancing across the skies. Combine the two together, and you get Shard Dancer. Shard Dancer initially had no interest in the throne, but after a series of mismanagements by his father each and every Great Hunger that caused preventable deaths, Shard Dancer just couldn’t take it anymore. So he challenged King Vera, and though both lions were weakened by hunger Shard Dancer managed to come out on top. He regrets that he had to kill his father, but there really wasn’t any other choice. Among the Egyptian Pantheon King Shard Dancer is closest to Anubis. The god of death actually worked with Osiris to bring him back to life when, after Apophis was defeated, the broken apart snake and rubble crushed him to death, which King Shard Dancer is infinitely grateful for. He was willing to sacrifice his life for his kingdom, sure, but just because one is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice doesn’t mean they don’t want to live. He has a family to get back to, after all. That will always be King Shard Dancer’s priority: his kingdom and the lions who dwell within it.
