Biography
King Tarkus is the first king of the pride. He is very straight forward and kind, telling people what they need to hear or speaking the truth when others may not, always with the intent to help whomever he can. While exploring the jungles, he met Aurelia, who became the first lioness brought into the pride and, eventually, his mate. Together they bore the first cubs of the pride, two daughters, Cardinal and Wren, and a son, Kion. Tarkus trusts Aurelia with the day to day leadership of his lionesses and values her loyalty to him and the pride. Soon after finding Aurelia and establishing the pride, he brought Coral and Jasper into the pride as well, trusting Aurelia to make sure they help with the day to day survival of the pride. He was very pleased to see their commitment to helping out however they can, along with Jasper's hunting prowess. Later, Tarkus claimed the lioness Rhodolite to have her carry a litter of his cubs. He was pleased that his mate wasn't too jealous of the new pregnant lioness, and took charge of her care in order to assure that his new cubs arrive safely. Most recently, Tarkus met Thea, a lioness who had been abused and left to die by her former pride, and welcomed her with open paws, providing the shelter, food, and security she needed to recover. She has since become a fierce hunter for the pride. Tarkus found Cyra while patrolling his territory before inviting her into his pride. She has proved to be a good huntress and very helpful and kind to the other lionesses and young cubs.
