-Desert Storm-
1st king of the pride
A trusting, kind and confident leader with big hopes for the future.
Desert Storm is mottled with many scars, each with a tale to tell.
Most of his scars are from his many explorations to navigate his territory. However, an oddly shaped scar on his flank was from his fight against Aphophis, alongside Anubis as a 4 year old. Desert Storm also sports a long scar across his left eye as a result from a particularly ferocious arena battle.
The creatures that surround him are also from his explorations, and had accompanied him back to his pride.
He is the father of Potato <3 (Bobbie)
Desert Storm is known for being a fair, kind leader, who , loved to share his knowledge and stories with his pride, and was always ready to lend a helping paw.
At almost 8 years old, He had accumulated a decent sized group of beautiful lionesses and was doing well, until the drought..
When the drought set in it seemed to take a toll on everyone, physically and mentally. But Desert Storm seemed to be affected the most. Slowly, he began to change. He became distant and cold, snapping at his lionesses, quickly getting upset, and even slapped one of his own cubs aside because it was annoying him. He grew worse by the day, ignoring his lionesses, chasing out his sub male, the list went on. Until one day… He snapped.
Desert Storm had been off all day, not speaking, and he seemed worse than usual. His son, a young male who looked quite similar to Desert Storm other than his unusual folded ears, had been sitting at the edge of their camp after a patrol. Desert Storm suddenly lept at the unsuspecting young male, pouncing on to his back and knocking him to the floor! He snarled angrily, a different tone in his voice, brutally striking and slashing him. The young male tried to fight back but he just wasn’t strong enough and hadn’t been given the proper training by his father. Desert Storm viciously attacked him, easily killing the much weaker lion. He got up, kicking the body away with his paw, leaving the spectating lionesses stunned and shook to the core.
Something had changed, and it seemed like there was no going back…
