Nysse chose him to be his successor as he realized such a thing would be necessary. Because he lacks imagination he also named the cub boringly. But since he doesn't really educate his offspring - at least not properly - the succession thing is probs not gonna be much to see. His son got other things to do anyways, He wants to be a loner and scare the world into respecting him. These two Nysses get into fights frequently.
