Demonic Carmichael

Carmichael inherited his father's kingdom, having been chosen by him to be the crown prince when he began his cub training, even though he had older brothers. The old king saw strength and determination in the cub, as well as patience to get what he wanted. The colder side of his son scared him, but that didn't change the fact that he was the most capable of carrying the burden of leadership. And the fact that the little lion respected his mother and, apparently, the other females, made him feel more at ease, because at least the females wouldn't suffer under Carmichael's command.
Unconcerned by the resentful looks of his older brothers, who left the pride when they came of age, he grew up focusing on preparing to take over the throne, not interacting much with other lions his own age, even though his mother encouraged him to do so. No... Carmichael preferred to spend his free time on his own, wandering around the territory, doing who knows what. It was on these pilgrimages that, as a teenager, he discovered a terribly dangerous passion: flames.
The first time he saw fire was during natural fires that appeared during dry periods. The heat and the vibrant colors left him astonished. From that day on, whenever he had the opportunity, he would approach the flames, and the humans who made them. Not that he liked humans... On the contrary, he always hated them, and more than once he stole a burning branch from the fires and set fire to the huts where the hairless primates lived.
His adventures have resulted in his paws being burned, as well as a few other minor burns on his body, but none of them have been able to stop his fascination. However, he is no idiot. He has never burned down his own home, and he has never endangered his females. Others who invade his territory, however... have much to fear.
