[NOTE; obviously, none of the lore i come up with is what actually happened LMFAO most of this is breeding mishaps, a couple were trades. this is all for fun!!] (Luam - 'Peaceful', 'calm') ◇ Luam had a rough start in the gift he considers life. Born under a rogue mother alongside two stillborn siblings, his 'mummy' was nothing short of negligent and frigid, only taking the time to feed and groom him- not once did he remember them playing, or even whenever or not his mother actually smiled. Time passed, resentment grew, and ultimately, as adolescence crept up on him, he takes off into the night, only looking back at his sleeping mother once. ◆ Initially, life alone paired with motherly trauma took a toll on teenage Luam. For the majority of his adolescent life, he would sulk in whatever abandoned cave he would find, only going out to eat, drink, and empty his bowels- having not been taught by anyone how to hunt, he couldn't catch anything big, but what he could catch, he was ruthless with. The few times he would encounter other rogues, he flip-flopped between being desperate for connection (particularly with older lionesses), or trying to tear them to shreds (heavy on 'trying', without fighting experience)- It all made sense, in his mind. Life was cruel to him, why shouldn't he be the same with everything around him? ◇ Of course, as he grew, his cold tendencies would slowly hault. With time, he grew tired of fighting, and just sat there, listening to whatever other rogues had to say. With time, he was more merciful with his prey, focusing on just keeping himself fed rather than trying to inflict as much pain as possible. It felt... Nice, forcing himself to let his guard down, all because he was so, so tired of keeping it up. It's almost funny- was it really this hard to be a half-decent lion, mummy? ◆ With that, he gave up on trying to be that standoffish rogue, and became something much more akin to who he is today- a gentle, patient lion quick to put others at ease, even if he can be overbearing about it. He gave up on keeping others at paw's length, and figured that it'd be a good idea to start a pride, all his own... It is as he's thinking this, that he runs into four adolescents, recently chased from their own pride. ◇ And the rest is history...
