"I apologized for killing your Mane, I don't want to, but that was a must. I have to survive, I don't want to die, I'm sorry. [...] YellowMane? No, I would like my name to be YellowHeart. I don't deserve to be a Mane." - Yellow after killing ScarMane by accident. YellowHeart was abandoned and lived as a cub wandering in the savanna for many moons. Hungry and exhausted, he accidentally murdered ScarMane and became the Pride's leader. Yellow refused to have his name as YellowMane, believing that he is not good enough to be one and was known as YellowHeart, for his desire to be a kind soul, despite how he was destined to be. As a pride lion, he broke a lot of rules, believing they are unfair and created his own new rules. Because of that, Spirit Pride punished him, which led the death of EchoMoon. Angered, YellowHeart challenged the whole Spirit Pride to change the law. They have lost, and the pride rule has been changed, with the birth of rule 10 and 11. But with that contains a cost, which is the death of YellowHeart. He was forgiven and ascended to Spirit Pride, reunited with all of his former pridemates.
