On the verge of the vast wilderness, a lion named Eperu (Ancient Mesopotamian word for "dust, soil") paces along the edge of the border. Descended from wild, nomadic lions without a pride, he decided to set one up of his own, right at the edge of the wilderness, to claim those who heed the call of the wild. King Eperu's territory is near that of Golden One, a more formidable and established king. Most of the strays he catches tend to be escapees and descendents from his land due to the strategic placement of Eperu's territory between his rival's kingdom and the wilderness.
