Galaxian aged from 9 yrs 7 mo. to 11 yrs 7 mo. on 4.21.15 primordial spring
His name means life.
he takes it as often as he creates it.
as you can see, 42 is a contradicting character.
When he was created, he knew not what to do with his life. When he noticed different lions with markings and manes of the sort, compared to his bland coloration, he finally knew what to do- start a pride and make lions beautiful and different. but after many failed attempts, his beautiful lionesses making ugly cubs with his genes, he thought of a different kind of different.
perhaps, mutation different.
Where enhancements or downgrades of physical traits, and the rarity of those, make lions TRULY different.
he now seeks to make the lion genome one of all sorts of features and mutations, and for that only breeds with very low lionesses. He has had many cubs, continues to have them, and eagerly waits for them to grow up so he can see if they have any special features. if not, he kills them off, not even sparing them the mercy of chasing. he knows that normal lions taint his dream of a mutated pride- and for that, even dreams of killing himself one day.
He adopted a handsome son, and named him Galaxian, after he stumbled upon him for cheap in the Trade Center. Galaxian's 6 siblings and pridemates, also included in the 200 SB trade, were killed for their unsightly appearances. But Galaxian was spared, for even though he is not mutated, he is a truly unique lion. Having a special connection with him, 42 has granted him the position of heir.
One of 42's lionesses, White Pantera, gave birth to 3 cubs, and 42 was especially pleased, for one of his daughters he didn't need to wait for- her mutation of Melanism earned her the name Citakilo and a rightful stay in the pride until death. Extremely happy with White Pantera, 42 began spending much more time with her, realizing that breeding wasn't all about the offspring. Over time, he began to fall in love..
42 still claims and buys VLF lionesses to breed, but he has a special place for White Pantera. He also
doesn't breed with his daughters; incest to him is a grave crime.
Citakilo is growing up nicely- even with bland marks and low stats, she is the first mutated cub 42 has had, as far as he knows. his older litters haven't had birth mutations, so he is granting them up to 2 years of hospitality to see if the females have birth mutations. if not, they get killed- not that they know it yet.
He knows full well that his successor, Galaxian, will make more beautiful mutations, as 42 is a plain-furred fellow; and his daughter, Citakilo, born with melanism, is guaranteed a safe and happy life as the beginning of his mutated pride.
after some time, and many killed cubs, another daughter was born with a birth mutation- this time it was Achromia. Naming her Kanti, 42 granted her full life in the pride, just like her older half sister, Citakilo.
Ironically, despite 42's mixed views towards appearance and coloration, his first 2 mutated cubs were born with a pigment alteration.
when Cikatilo went into her first heat, 42 decided to have his melanistic daughter go into an arranged studding with an achromatic king. He was rather disappointed when her cubs didn't have a mutation. but over time Cikatilo developed a crush on her randomly-introduced stud, and hoped her father would make him come around again when she was breedable once more. And Galaxian did arrange it, for the rest of their natural lives, until he broke the promise and bred with her from her 3rd breeding and on.
As Kanti grew into a fine adolescent, Galaxian fell in deep love with her- something 42 wasn't particularly ok with. Kanti, with guidance from Cikatilo, also grew aware of her father's intents, and in fact supported the whole mutated pride. She also had a huge crush on Galaxian; something that was scorned on by the rest of the pride, due to their age differences.
Galaxian eventually rose to power, realizing his strength over his savior; one night, 42 just disappeared. No one knows what happened to him, but Galaxian simply says he did what he needed to do.
The pride began an era of peace, and Kanti became Galaxian's mate when her father disappeared. They are a very intimate couple, and proved to their pride that they arent as vulgar as everyone thought ; the teen lioness and young male had yet to make their own cubs.
Then came a time when Galaxian had more lionesses than he had territory- he ended up selling 5 of 42's original lionesses, including the mothers of Kanti and Cikatilo. This was something neither of them could forgive.
Another mutant was invited into the pride- a silky maned lioness who went by Qurra. Traded for 4 honeycombs in the trade center, Galaxian cleaned up this abandoned stranger and she became a very popular lioness, giving the best tips for the queens to raise cubs, being middle-aged.
As Galaxian continued his experiment of obtaining VLF lionesses and breeding them for mutants, a truly amazing phenomenon happened- Shizuru, a 1% that was often overlooked, bore the very first Dwarfism cub in existence. Other prides around them went ballistic, offering countless amounts of currency to buy her, congratulating Galaxian on his daughter, and donating gifts and transferring friends for her to play with. Galaxian was requested for many studdings since then, helping his pride's economical state, while Shizuru fought viciously to protect her daughter from all the attention. The cub, Adva, had no idea of her popularity- Shizuru kept her and her 2 sisters, mute watches 89 and 90, sheltered. Shizuru and Galaxian fought a number of times over the fate of little Adva, whose shortness was thought to be an inability to hunt and therefore useless to the pride. After multiple threats and countless arguments late into the night, Galaxian decided to keep her for good- something that Shizuru forced him to enact. Many prides sought to buy Shizuru's whole family as it was, something that Galaxian hated.
He began feeling the same feelings he had towards Kanti, but Kanti was too different from him. Adva, who often liked to stumble around and play with Galaxian, suggested he take her mother as a mate, as she told him Shizuru often gazed at him when he was at home. He decided he didn't like Kanti anymore, first love or not- after getting to know Shizuru in an arranged meeting by Adva, he finally confirmed he loved her and not Kanti. Kanti in question did not care- she was too busy rearing her cubs and preferred talking to Cikatilo than her mate, proving she had lost interest as well. Thus, Shizuru became his permanent mate- and together they raised little Adva and her siblings.
As Adva began to become aware of her reputation among other prides and her own, she took it all in kind, her mother not giving her any advantage just because she was attended to. Her shortness was never an issue among the pride, and Galaxian introduced her to studs from far away who hoped to breed her. After some time, she was separated from her sisters, and was simply told they went to start prides when they had in fact been killed like the rest of the mute watches. As a huntress, she was under fierce training by Qurra, Cikatilo and Kanti and worked extra hard to gain stats and support her pride.
As Adva became old enough to hunt, Galaxian decided to complete the team and add another mutant. He traded 5 GB and 12,000 SB to his friend Mythos for a beautiful and well statted huntress named Rockette. a Mane Fluffy, she was well adored by the cubs, and became a popular lioness throughout the pride. The highest statted huntress, albeit the least experienced due to never hunting in her old pride, she made a great addition. She and Galaxian quickly became best friends, and together they run the pride politics. Adva often seeks her advice when her mother is busy hunting, and the two have a mentor and apprentice bond that Shizuru became jealous of.
When Shizuru was on her last day of her second heat, Galaxian had no energy left and decided to stud her off. Furious, she tried to fight him, but Rockette pinned her down, saying that she would hurt her cubs. Shizuru claimed that he only took her as his mate because of Adva's birth, just like he took Kanti because she had Achromia. And sneered at Rockette that she was probably next due to her mutation as well. Devastated, Galaxian cut all communication with her until she cooled off, and continued his friendship with Rockette in secret. The whole pride was struggling to maintain order. So far the only lions to know about the killings of the mute watches were the mutants themselves, as Adva soon learned what had really happened to her sisters. There was no objection- every pride born birth mutant was despised as they grew up, so they wanted their hateful siblings dead anyways. The mute watch legacy continued as over 100 lions were killed already. Adva soon gave birth to a son, exactly 50 mute watches after her, making him 139. Other prides, who previously went ballistic over the thought of her having more dwarves, became less interested as he showed no birth mutation and was a male.
There had been mayhem and chaos in the pride as Galaxian struggled to impregnate all his lionesses without having them miss their heat, with everybody coming into heat at nearly the same time. After a while with dealing with this, Galaxian pulled through. This was an event everyone called the Roundabout. Litters after litters of cubs were born, and the huntresses were working diligently to keep the pride fed. Almost everyone, however, had cubs- Primavera, a spunky and tempered lioness, missed her 3rd heat during the Roundabout. Galaxian was furious- her fertility had consumed all of his energy, and for a 7%, too much time had been wasted. He killed her- and set a general rule that any lioness who missed their heat would be terminated.
Another lioness, Camilla, was killed at a ripe age of 4 years for failing her 2nd heat. A 1% being killed was a surefire threat to the other lionesses if Galaxian would really go that far. a couple days later he killed Pratika, who tried her best to get through the 8 days but failed with extra embarrassment as she was slaughtered in front of the other lionesses.
One of his most faithful lionesses, Nuet, bore a litter of 4 cubs (3rd in den ever. 1st Mamasita, 2nd Gallina). He was ecstatic that a little girl, almost mute watch 173, had folded ears. He promptly named her Myka, and the whole pride rejoiced that there was yet another special lion in the pride.
After having countless considerations for an Heir, Galaxian found a light furred lion, and took him in. His stats were well for such a young sub, and he named him Nikhil. Nikhil was well liked and respected by the other lionesses, and settled in nicely as Galaxian taught him all about running the pride.
Another lioness, a 13% named Perdido, was killed for trying to escape the 8 days. The whole pride was going through a famine due to the cubs from the Roundabout, and the pride was struggling once again.
Adva's firstborn son was let the right to live in 24's pride, who was given the right to name him Keito. Galaxian quickly reestablished connections with his adoptive uncle and gave him the privilege of taking care of his grandcubs.
As the famine got worse, Galaxian killed Rupee (8%) for missing her heat. 4 submales ran away (146-148) due to no space, and he frantically tried to hunt them down. After paying a zealous amount of SB for some food, the pride's hunger was momentarily satisfied. Galaxian became depressed as his pride was falling apart, and his best friend Rockette, whenever she wasn't hunting, tried her best to help him lead everybody through it.
Shizuru's temper grew as she began hating Galaxian, forever jealous of Rockette and her mentorship with Adva and friendship with her mate. Unknown to her, Galaxian fell in love yet again, but this time it was for life- his old age wasn't strong enough to last another heartbreak, and so he chose Rockette, fair and square. They announced themselves after the pride pulled through the famine, and were codominant leaders, friends, and lovers. Shizuru never spoke again after that day.
Adva's litters of cubs, destined to take over 24's pride, were sparking controversy among other prides. Many wanted to stud to Keito, thinking his genes would produce another dwarf. Keito merely turned down offers, and Galaxian stated firmly that Adva's lineage was not to be extended past her own cubs.
As Adva's second litter entered adulthood, Galaxian and 24 grew closer in their old age. Keito and Ichengo also became very close, and were each being instructed on how to rule their prides. Ichengo was statting formidably, and Kei
