In the harsh world of kill or be killed, Kumon is unusually kind to those receptive to such interaction. He is a gentle giant, loving to all of his pride and the small animals of the grasslands. Do not confuse his kindness for weakness, however - he destroys anything that threatens his life or the lives of his pride members. Though firm in his control of his territory and willing to defend it from other animals, Kumon has a soft spot for orphaned young of any kind and insists upon taking them under his wing and having them be taken care of alongside his cubs. Some lions question his tolerance - and even outright adoration - of the other animals he allows into his pride, but he is confident that they will do no harm and will return the favors he bestows upon them when they come of age.
