Montbretia; aka coppertips, a flower that is described as both fragile and easily separated Montbretia joined the pride as a young injured teen, having been a lone male. He was raised by the previous king to be his heir, looking up to him. Mike grew old and weak, getting killed in a territory scuffle between him and Aesma, the leader of a neighboring pride. This made the young and ill prepared Montbretia the leader. Angered by the actions of the other pride, a newly appointed Montbretia declared a war which lasted many months, until finally he stood face to face to the other leader. The queen was asking for a truce, a stop to the bloodshed. Montbretia, blinded with rage, attacked the older queen, permanently blinding her in her left eye. He declared the other pride had to leave or join him, reluctantly allowing Aesma and some of her lions joining his ranks after it was explained why her and King Mike fought. Its been many years, and he and the queen have reluctantly worked together, coming to an understanding and both growing closer.
