Fearsome Belabean

A young lion from a long, great and strong dynasty was chased out of his pride the best in Africa by his father, but not without a fight. He lost the fight but succeeded in tearing out his fathers eye. He had gotten a scar on his head from the fight.

He wandered the lands looking for a perfect area to start his pride. Then one day as he was wandering through the jungle he came upon a clearing. It lay at the base of a waterfall where there was a clear blue lake and around it was a grassy area with a huge rock sticking out of the ground. he went around the clearing marking his territory. He then went to the rock and lay upon it.

He heard a few sticks break and looked over to where the sound came from. Seeing another male lion he ran over and growled. The lion gave him a few lionesses and some food then left. He took the lionesses expanded his territory and made a food pile. One of the lionesses gave birth the next day to two white eyed cubs.

One of the cubs was golden and the other one was a snow white color. Seeing the snow white one he made her the princess so that when she grew up she would be his queen, his mate. The mother of the cubs did not care to be in the pride but he knew that by chasing her off she would bring her cubs with her. So he made a decision, once the cubs grew to be adolescents he would trade off the mother so that he could keep both of the white-eyed cubs.

Even though he cares about his lionesses and cubs he knows that by chasing off the mother of the cubs and the other lionesses he can make the pride better and happier. He cares about his mate and knows that she loves her mother but he knows that he must do this. The pride rules are the same as his fathers but with less harsh consequences.

He was patrolling his territory he ran into another lion. He didn't get territorial but instead said hi as did the other lion. He recognized this lion from his old pride from when he was a cub. Just then he recognized him, he was his brother Maruziki! And not only that but he had made his own pride too. He and his brother had decided to join the prides after many other meetings. Now he and his brother share the jungle lands and would fight other lions to the death to protect their territory. Even though his brother is bigger and more handsome than him they still get along. A few days later his whole pride ran off and when his brother saw this he gave him some more lionesses.....along with a new Queen, Queen Lilly.
