Son of NobleHeart and scion of Mary Sue, Valiant continues the mighty legacy of the lions of Pride Virtue. All lions of Pride Virtue must be very hot, and since king Noble, tradition dictates they be a massive and powerful primal. Valiant was raised to his position from birth and received the Heart honorific to the end of his name when he took his throne. He is strong, kind, handsome, and heroic, but beyond that he is also intelligent. Some Pride Virtue lions leave the smarts to their queens and focus on their muscles but Valiant is not only brave and far-seeing, he is also far-thinking. This reflects itself in his advisor, Sir Croakle. Traditionally, a lion will select a bird as majordomo. They are quick and can reconnoiter easily from the skies, receiving and delivering information swiftly. But in a pinch, a bird friend can be cajoled into doing so and Valiant knew he'd need the word from the undeground, where small and secretive animals can be reluctant to divulge their information, but will have the kind of knowledge that larger animals or those who fly will miss out on-- news of the soil and weather, gossip overheard, and the movements of creatures less readily seen from the sky. Sir Croakle takes his position seriously and acts as a liaison and diplomat as well as informant and advisor. He is very good at his job. He is paid handsomely in bugs and enjoys both status and protection among the pride, where the lionesses have taken a shine to his stolid and somewhat stiff personality and tend to baby him juuuust a little.
