Synopsis;
Of the many gods that exsist, Riella was the second to descend, following shortly after her oldest daughter Lucre. With the passage of time the gods powers, once strong enough to destroy stars and create planets, had diminished. As their followers diminished in number, the god were forced to make a choice. Either leave the universe they had nutured since long ago, or once more set paw on the planet that the gods rose from. As such, Riella and her daughter were the first two to descend, unwilling to give up hope.
Of the many gods that exsisted, Riella's family was the only worshiped by felines. Existing long before the gods of humans, they were just as powerful, but chose to leave the world at some point and over time, the gods weakened as their worshippers diminished. Eventually the gods realized what was happening but when they returned their worship had diminished to the point where their names were long lost, the only Knowledge of them being Starclan. Starclan, or the Celestial Kingdom, was Riella's creation. One she made alongside her husband, to give their worshippers a place to rest after their mortal vessels died. When the gods continued to weaken, Karon was the first to fall into a slumber.
This left Riella to rule over the gods alone, with a new reality. Without Karon's protection the gods were no longer protected from the flow of time. Only within the Celestial Kingdom were their souls safe. This forced the gods to retreat to the Celestial Kingdom, where they lived amongst the souls of their followers. With Apedemak's corruption, the gods were further weakened, and almost all of them gradually fell into a deep sleep. With Apedemak's defeat, and the awakening of a true Celestial Queen, the Celestial Kingdom was healed and the gods began to awaken. With this, Riella decided it was time for them to act, otherwise they would be doomed to fade away. She sent her strongest child, Lucre, to light the path, and followed shortly after.
Riella descended into the territory of Nightclan, where she met Salmonstar. The aged King had been greatly weakened during his adventures with Menhit. Riella offered to restore him to youth, in reward for his acts of bravery but Salmonstar smiled and declined. "If I am to be rewarded, I would much rather ask that you protect and watch over my clan. If you can protect and lead them, I am sure they will be able to bring you joy and comfort during the trials you plan to face." When Salmonstar passed, Riella took over his body, and Menhit aided her in assimilating to the vessel.
