☾✩☽ When Lilim decided that the depths of the Underworld weren't enough for her, that she was sick of being under the paw of her mother, that she wanted to go to the surface of all places, outrage was the last thing that Lilith felt. No, her feels were far from it. If her daughter wished to defy all of her good intentions and wishes, then so be it. Her daughter's fate mattered little to her, especially if the mangy thing wanted to take it into her own paws. It was not rage that smoldered in her icy heart. It was merely.. the slightest inclination of irritation. But irritation was a blight easily squashed, cured by the roll of cloudy eyes before returning to her duties, uncaring for the decisions her wanderlust child had made. And, perhaps, that was part of what drove Lilim away: her mother's aloofness, lack of concern, her detachment from everything and everyone, including Lilim herself. And, for the longest time, the nightmare queen Lilith remained in the depths as her daughter reigned on the surface, and when Lilim's rule came to an end, Lilith not did bat an eye when she did not return to the depths from whence she came. Days passed. Then months. Then years, and still Lilim did not return.. It was only when the portal to Hell was wrenched open, as it does annually nowadays, did Lilith learn the truth of what had happened to her daughter's territory. A nepheline of all creatures had taken Lilim's pride, besmirching not just Lilim's name, but Lilith's own by association. But it was not anger that consumed Lilith. No, just disappointment. How foolish of her daughter, to let her own be controlled by such a fanciful lioness. Lilith would sort out the mess her daughter had made and clear her name of such a debacle. After all, Lilith was cold, calculated, and ruthless.
