The Tribe Of Nesting Rodents (TTONR)

There is a group of lions that live and protect with rodents. Ever since Zalabi was chased of by his mother as a cub, he began to make his own life, starting a tribe.
When he was 3 years old, he found a burrow, that was empty.
He noticed it was huge, like big enough for a whole pride to live there. So, he claimed it as his home.
When he started to nest and keep his belongings there, he would see rodents come in and out, not seeming to be frightened by the male lion. One day a small rat came up to him, and imminently they became best friends. He named him Garoba (In honor of my first pet rat, Gary <3)
Sadly, Garoba was killed by pack of rottweilers, and Zalabi want's revenge on those evil canines. After that he would let rats, mice, gerbils, etc. come and stay in his burrow, even sharing food with them.
A year after that, he met a beautiful lioness named Galia. They became mates not long after she decided to stay with him. They had there first cub, Leila, but she died sadly of head trauma from a fatal accident. (She was only 7 months when she died)
Galia and Zalabi were incredibly sad after the death of there daughter, but moved on.
Lions from other pride lands came to live with the two lions, making a large family.

The gifted.

One of the lions, Ratza, has a special connection with the rats. She can talk to them and communicate with them, so she is called ''The rat queen.''
With her gift, she helps the clans through tough times. Since the rats know there ways.

The protector.

Snowdrip is the protector of all the cubs, she makes sure they are safe at all times.
Since Snowdrip is mostly out of the burrows 80% of the day, she has the rats watch over the cubs. And they certainly do a great job at it.

The hunters.

TTONR Has a group of lioness to hunt (of course). The hunters hunt both meat and plants. For the rats to eat. And any cub 6 months or older begins collecting herbs and plants. They stop and start to hunt meat at 12 months old.

The patrolers.

TTONR's males will patrol frequent, usually every day for a few hours. They do this more than normal prides because of the rats. If there are no sub males in the tribe at the time, the lioness's will patrol.
