The Woodthorne pride was once part of the Thornewood pride to the North, but they splintered from the pride with their first leader, Klimt when their numbers grew too large. The bonds between the two prides are still strong, and often they will meet and spend a day swapping stories and sharing meals, cubs playing in the tall grass.

The current ruler is Klimt II, the second King. He is the son of Kobrin I, the second king of Thornewood, and he hopes he will be as great a ruler as his predecessor and his father.
