Barely a year after the pride was formed, Lanzo was overthrown and killed by Maroon, a male exiled from a previous pride for attempting a similar attack on the pride leader.
Years down the road, Maroon is taken down by two of his sons, Aaric and Shark, during a raid on two neighboring prides. Since then, Aaric has been working on keeping the peace between the three prides and passing it down onto his heir Silvius. While Maroon's bloodline holds some level of power in the pride, it was decided to let the pride members choose who rules after each king steps down.
