WRITING LOG: LIONS

RULERS
AMANDRIEL the GOOD NATURED.
After being chased away from his parents' pride, Amandriel claimed his own territory and vowed to never leave a lion homeless and in need like he was when he came of age. When he must send someone away, he always makes sure they have somewhere safe to go.

MAIN LIONESSES
AMALTHIA
The first Lioness Amandriel met after starting his own pride. It didn't take much convincing for her to decide to follow the young king to his territory.
--KAMALA
The firstborn cub born to Amalthia, sired by Amandriel. She's still a newborn!

BEAN
This adolescent was gifted to Amandriel's tribe by Foelammi along with several others due to the limited territory and resources the other king possesses. She quickly fit in with the rest of the pride,

GHIRADEL
This lioness caught Amandriel's attention from the moment they met. She had been travelling with her sister and her sister's cub and met when Amandriel, out exploring, led the cub back to the two lionesses. Despite her hesitation, she was eventually convinced to return to the pride with Amandriel and has remained there ever since.

NAIA
After stumbling upon Amandriel playing with some of his pride's cubs in a field, Naia- then a young cub herself- decided to join in the fun and was taken in. She has since grown into a lovely adolescent, and has truly found her place among the family.

TASH
Amandriel's mane love interest at the moment. She caught his fancy when another king, due to that king's limited territory, offered him his pick of a group of lionesses. All of Tash's cubs from her previous litter were either stillborn or died soon after birth, leaving her to mourn their losses and yearn to care for cubs again, but Amandriel hopes to give her another litter when she has recovered.

VENNA
This cheerful lioness joined Amandriel's pride almost without his input, She simply showed up one day, making herself right at home, and Amandriel didn't have the heart to deny her. Since then, she's proven herself a valuable huntress, her skill clear to see.

WHITE GODDESS
An incredibly beautiful lioness, this gorgeous girl joined Amandriel's pride and currently serves as his broodmother, taking care of most of the care of the cubs. Despite her enjoyment of her new position, she still tends to disdain Amandriel's affection, preferring to spend time on her own when she isn't caring for the little ones.

YENEVIEVE
This calm lioness is fully aware of the fact Amandriel invited her to the pride specifically due to his.. enjoyment of her appearance, and doesn't mind the attention at all. She can often be seen flirting with him, or found lounging around the cave gossiping with the other lionesses who possess his attention, when she isn't going on hunts with the rest of the hunting party.

SECONDARY/TEMPORARY LIONESSES
LINORA
A lioness that Amandriel found wandering his pridelands and invited to remain with his pride until she finds her true family. So far she has spent her time hunting with the other lionesses and teaching the young cubs to hunt as well.

MAKA
A friend of Linora's who also found safety and peace in Amandriel's pride. She is one of the most successful huntresses living in the pride at the moment, but is still looking for another family to live with.

MARKS
Following after White Goddess and her cub when they left their old pride, Marks decided to stick around with Amandriel for a while, thriving off of the free care with no expectations, with full intentions of making her own way somewhere else when the 'good vibe' style of Amandriel's leadership finally tires her.

OMARA
The second lioness to join Amandriel's family, this calm lioness joined just to help show him the ropes and to hunt for the pride until they were more established. Now that the pride is beginning to stabilize for itself, she plans on leaving to do the same favor for another family somewhere else on the vast continent.

CUBS
ANASHI
A cub found among the roots of the Giving Tree, taken in by Amandriel. She's not the nicest cub around, being jaded from a young age due to her abandonment at the hands of her previous pride. Anashi can often can be found snacking on food she stole from the other cubs.

COVU
This cub was traded to Amandriel along with Dominion in exchange for supplies. He's not at all upset at having been uprooted and sent to another pride, planning to secure his place as the heir - as soon as he gets a little bit bigger, that is.

DOMINION
This cub was set to be the next in line to Foelammi's throne, but was sent to live with Amandriel instead in exchange for food and other supplies. Amandriel took the cub in without hesitation and treats him as a son.

HASHI
Born to White Goddess, she joined the pride along with her mother and has greatly enjoyed her new family thus far.

REPUBLIC
Given to Amandriel by Foelammi, the kind king of another pack. He had been taken in from the Giving Tree and was intended to be gifted to the Gorillas due to Foelammi's lack of resources to care for him, but when he didn't match what the primates had hoped for, Foelammi sent him to the younger lion's pride instead.

STYX
This cub wasn't intended to be traded to Amandriel, but the king became so attached to her during his meeting with Foelammi to discuss trade that he begged the other king to allow him to adopt her in exchange for an increase in the trade. The other king graciously accepted, allowing Amandriel to take the kitten he was smitten with home with him.
