Seishin the Wise founded this pride on wisdom and kindness, hopping to bring a home for all those in need. Flame, Seishin's adopted son, was bred to be the next King. However, not all would agree with that choice. Flame, still a young lion, was not like his father and many had seen him unfit for the throne. Until Bleu came along. A young, powerful lion. He assimilated into the pride easy enough, but his strength shined through. However, not long after he arrived Seishin met an early demise. A sickness they believe but the King had shown no signs of such prior to his passing.

Now with Flame still so young and Seishin's friend, Kage, old and unwell Bleu ascended to the throne easily. Today the rumors spread of Bleu's possible paw in the old King's demise, but no one has dared to challenge this. This is how Bleu has taken this pride and how he had earned the name.
