Ciaran Akeldama's Den
You approach a lion's den, led here by the stench of rotting flesh. It's foggy today. On your way there, you stumble upon countless bones scattered here and there. Perhaps they were left here as a warning?
You trot to where the smell is the strongest, your curiosity stronger than your fear, and suddenly you stop. You can feel someone is nearby, but you cannot see, hear nor smell them, but you can feel the pressure of someone's gaze upon you.
You turn around and a dark figure appears, its shape blurry due to the fog. You here a deep, husky voice.
"I am Achlys, king of these lands. Tell me why you are here, what are you seeking?"
It takes you a bit but you can see it's actually a lion standing in front of you. You are filled with dread, but manage to explain that you were simply a traveler passing by.
"A traveler you say? I suggest you go back home then, stranger. You are not welcome here."
You were about to explain that you didn't mean any harm, but the guttural sound of growling stops you - you are surrounded! A bunch of aggressive lionesses and two massive sub males are snarling around you in a semi-circle.
"Go away" a few of them growl.
You yelp and decide to run away as far and as fast as you can.
You don't look back, but you can hear them laughing. If you didn't know they were lions, you could have sworn these were hyenas.
You swear to never come anywhere near here again.
