Naoma's Den

𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞

This pride holds many stories, dating to the begining of their time, where it was barely even starting with the Gentle Cyllene, who gave up his position for his own son, Iniko.
He led the pride selfishly, and the lions struggled to stand up to him until his daughter, Fallon, save them from his cruel claws. Her reign was peacful and everyone had time to calm down and live their lives at their best, but it didn't last until a headstrong young male called Glisten chased her away for a right at the throne.
He came from a neighboring group, and had sisters and aunts in the pride who stood up for him, not knowing he would lead it without care, and the pride would soon be tainted by his greed.
Harsh years were spent with hardly any free will given from their king, only freed once again by a mysterious soul, Naoma. She refused to mention where she came from, only that she was born into a distant pride much different from this.
Naoma noticed how the lionesses and their cubs suffered under the treatment of such hierarchies, and decided that it was time for change. Many were taken by surprise and initially decided against it, their pride having worked this way since its birth, but Naoma insisted, promising them that a fresh start and new way of living based on their own preferences could bring them more freedom.
Eventually, they doubtingly agreed, and the strange lioness, which decided to take the role of a supervisor, decided to split the large territory in half, it's division being at the mesmerizing lake in the heart of their lands.
One part led towards high-reaching hills and mountains, dotted by sunny fields and sparse forests; and the other part trailed to rocky landscapes, down to the shady, humid caves, with beautiful ponds and waterfalls reflecting the flora above.
Both of these territories would be primarily led by two lionesses of her choice. All members gathered around, anxiously awaiting her answer, their faces drooping in shock when she announced a young cub of their former king, Avira, to lead over the sunlit peaks, and her own newborn daughter, Fiadh, to be responsible of the lush caves.
