You enter a grassy field. The sky is dark and countless stars are already up in it, strange. Last time you checked the sun was still up high. A weird male lion walks towards you, he has horns, tusks and wings, plants and chains on his body. He asks about your intentions. You answer him that you're just passing by and was hopping for some calm place to rest. The other lion sits down and a whole pride come out of the bushes, cubs, lionesses, adolescents , two other males, younger than the first one and finally a....human cub ? The main male speaks again.
" If those are your real intentions, you're welcomed to rest here, at the Fire Pride's camp, for as long as you need. My name is Aube, what's yours traveler ?"

Hi, sorry if there is some mistakes english is not my language. I'm a french girl who loves genetics, animals (lions are one of my favorites) and cats in general. For those who are interested, here, in the Fire Pride, there are differents roles for the lions that are inspired by the Warrior Cats books :

● The main male is the leader, he's the one ruling over the pride and actually, it's my first main male, Aube, who's at charge.
● Then there are the two broodmothers, Pinky Glitters and Rajha, they protect and teach the cubs when their mothers stop feeding them and are taking care of the pride when the leader is absent or hurt/sick/asleep.
● Next are the guards : Lexios and Ares, they're the only males welcomed in the pride other than the leader. Their job is to patrol around the territory to make sure everything is alright and help the leader and the pride if needed
● After the guards, there is the queens they're lionesses who are pregnants or feeding cubs.
● Then there are the warriors, it's the females who don't have any cubs. They hunt and fight only when absolutely needed.
● Next are the apprentices, they're adolescents training to be either guards or
warriors.
● Then there are the elders, they're lions or lionesses older than 12 years. They share a den with the apprentices to teach them manners and give them some tips for their future role. Staying with the elders help them to become more patient since the apprentices help them in return by cleaning the den and bring them food.
● And last but not least, the cubs, they're only playing most of the times and don't do anything for the pride but they're still very important because they represents the futur of the pride.
