These spirits go by the name of 'Laoise',
But how did they all come to be?
These Felines are often brightly colored, genetically superior and shockingly gorgeous with a dangerous and mysterious aura to them.
Long before any creature or plant had been formed- there roamed a spirit in the endless lands of the nonexistent. It never had a name, and was simply called “The Great Unknown”. This creature seemed to take on the strange resemblance of a feline, perhaps a lion? We shall never know.
During one of its deep thoughts, light suddenly appeared, this creature had discovered the extent of its power. It started slowly, first messing with light and darkness, where it then proceeded to make combinations: creation. Turning “nothing” into “something”.
This story has been long forgotten and turned into many other versions, but I’m here to retell it.

This feline saw fit to create servants, perfect, and a breathtaking companion, the first of which being Agaeti Bloodhren.
After this feline creature was created, The Great Unknown decided to rest, it was formed into the stars. Watching and blessing us for the rest of all time.
Now Agaeti, Agaeti was the one! The true, the intelligent, the FIRST life in this universe, the true beginning of us all! She was the first physical spirit.
Agaeti used The Great Unknown's knowledge of creation and light to create others, where something unsettling was created.
Evil? What is this strange spirit?
Agaeti being the just and true, decided to add it to her bloodline of descendants and living creations, deciding everything needed a chance, a hope. An opportunity

(Now let me mention, The Great Unknown is the ONLY spirit able to see into the future clearly, though it doesn’t speak and simply protects through its blessings, this spirit is incapable of feline emotion and is full of eternal mystery)
Agaeti, can feel emotion just as any creature.
She saw fit to create a hierarchy, the other forms of life such as plants and animals would stay in their own ecosystems, but what about the rest of the spirits that were beginning to form?

The highest of all of these,

The Great Unknown
It didn't care about being worshiped and praised, it merely looked down at life with nothing but love deeper than the beginning of time. It didn’t see a need for punishment and simply watched the world from afar.
Yet Agaeti would give her thanks to the Great Unknown, she would create breathtaking forms of art as offerings, rainbow feathers, colorful fire of deep blues and pinks, and colors splashed onto leaves.


2. Angels of Fate
Though they cannot see clearly into the future, they can certainly change the course of someone's life direction with simple intentions and words. These felines rarely speak and are the wisest of all, they guard everything they say and are ultimately one of the superior. Often wearing robes, they see horrors of all sorts due to their foresight and are simply undefeatable in battle. These felines are a blazing white, with 8 wings and two tails, they always have a blinding crown of light around their ears. They present a hazy aura along with voices that echo.
Most of these angels have little emotion such as empathy and rely completely off of justice.


3. Fallen Angels of Desire
Mirages, and are seen distorted as if they are broken glass, similar to Angels of Desire they are a misty texture rather than a pure physical deity, it's almost impossible to fight them- they mirror your reflection ultimately confusing you. They come in dark colors and often have what seems to be blood splattered all over their fur, they enjoy murdering the unworthy and fight for the thrill. They possess an ungodly amount of restraint and can often rage with utter blindness, potentially killing everything around them- never approach these beings at night.
These beings actually have two jaws, and have a habit of decapitating their victim with a horrible sight- a second set of teeth, their eyes turn completely black before they bite you.
Even being slightly bitten kills you- their saliva and tongue is a deep blue- filled with enough poison to kill you instantly, these lions cannot hunt for the pride- because if they bite the prey and pass it on- it will kill the receiver of the food.
These felines do not blink and have an unsettling aura to them

4. Angels of Ceremony
These Spirits have a unique armor to them, often shining colorful metals of all sorts, they have an assortment of head crowns and their 6 wings are decorated in jewelry, they do most of the battling by mimicking the voices of past lions and splitting themselves into two- they can see a lions deepest treasure and use that to trick a lion into killing themselves- similar to the Spirits of Sirens, however they have complete mental control over both of their forms and technically have two lives.


5. The Spirits of Cervidae
All of these spirits are a misty texture rather than a whole physical deity, they also glow but they come in all colors and varieties, some have slight animal characteristics, like antlers and rosettes. They fight in long range distances and use shards of crystals and arrows to drive it through their opponents heart with precise accuracy and speed. Their claws are massive with a shine to each one. They never fail when it comes to taking an opponent down.
They communicate with pure elements and use it to their advantage, creating spells and often medicine- they are rather peaceful but deadly when angered.

6. The Angels of Lust and Love
They ultimately hate each other, though they are equal levels of power neither can defeat the other. Both have four wings.
Love is often light pinks with dazzling white patterns, like soft and colorful roses- but Lust is often deep reds with streaks of black, like a charred fire.
Love believes in morality and feelings- the greatest of kindness and peace dwells in them.
While Lust only relies on free will and basic logic. Similar to Angels of Fate they are incapable of emotion and do whatever pleases them, every Angel of Lust is born with one main goal, and the desire to complete it no matter what.
Lust is clever in battle and often leads patrol groups, using enchanted spears as their main source of weaponry- along with a crystal to provide whatever energy they collect- killing creatures is a quick way to store energy into their crystals. They have a dark pair of massive wings.
while Love is usually a secondhand ruler that avoids conflict but manages to keep the balance between clans and gatherings.
Love is capable of small blessings and grants of power, they have smaller white wings.


7. The Spirits of Sirens
They usually consist of deep blues and greens. These felines seem to have slanted glowing eyes and most wear blindfolds as protection.
Their eyes are capable of captivating you and ultimately controlling you like a doll, however it comes with a disadvantage, the spirit must leave its own physical body and into the mind of its victim, when it successfully controls the victim the original body of the Spirit is left unprotected and motionless.
A unique tactic is committing suicide when its in the opponent's mind and body, the victim dies and the spirit is automatically shifted back into its own body.
These felines have a reputation of being unknown and quick to anger, which could result in the devastating loss of your own life.
Rough paws, Great fishers, and are extremely fond of water with slippery sleek fur.


8. Angels of Undying Secrecy
They can detect a lie instantly, a sensing burning in their gut. These felines have a voice as sweet as honey and are often deep gold colors with deep green haunted eyes.
But who's to say this angel can't lie itself? Despite the burning feeling? No one but another one of these angels would be able to prove it.
These felines often keep to themselves and are especially skilled at hunting, no one understands their intentions or goals, they often roam throughout lands and provide trades of all sorts- they study how weaponry and medicine is made by observing the other angels.
They usually rule in courts and settle disputes immediately due to their ability to sense a lie, but they are rare and sadly hunted for their shining golden coats- they are smaller than most lions and often kept as “pets” or “decoration” despite their intelligence.


9. Spirits of Pure Bliss
These Spirits often have arrangements of flowers and jewelry and often buy from gatherers to create their unique crafts. Colorbomb felines, they have a knack for being lazy but fierce- most of these creatures lounge on soft leaves displaying their beautiful fur. These spirits are peaceful but useless in battle, their main purpose is protecting and raising the young- they will take in any baby, from an Angel of Fate cub, to a regular commoner cub.
Nothing upsets these felines, and they have the heart to cheer up even the most depressed of creatures. Often have a colorful hue around them along with bright wings and pure white eyes.

These Lions are the commoners and are automatically ranked below Spirits and Angels, Commoners see the Spirits and Angels as gods.
All Angels and Spirits have shining silver blood, since they are magical properties- while the regulars have red or- (if they’re blessed) blue blood

The Common Pride

1. The Leader
The leader of a pride, usually an angel or a spirit in pure feline form who can communicate directly with commoners.

2. Deputy
These are regular felines who specialize in all sorts of activities- they communicate with The Great Unknown and provide insight and advice from it to the rest of the pride. The Tame are usually the ones blessed by spirits. The Great Unknown speaks through signs if it chooses to respond, it's not biased towards one pride or another so asking for advice about a war is useless.

3. Hunters and Gatherers
Regular lions. They often have an Angel of Undying Secrecy or Siren lead the group. These lions are rather common and each one has a special ability, whether its enhanced hearing, smell, night vision, etc.
They come in many colors but only dull ones, such as greens and golden/browns. Being able to blend easily into their backgrounds, their fur can change slight colors to their surrounding foliage.
These lions provide all the herbs and food for the pride, they have a reputation for collecting rocks and feathers on their hunts.
These lions often carry little bags and can walk on their hind paws, similar to a kangaroo they switch between all fours and twos.

4. The Common of the Commoners
Regular lions, usually take on a role of some sort, and often young males-
Usually deal the prey equally, explain games to the cubs, teachers, broodmothers or elders.
(Elders: Pass along stories and advice to all that listen)
(Broodmothers: Basic caretakers for cubs)
(Teachers: Teach how to hunt, write, etc.)

[Universal Rules]
As a Commoner you never insult a Spirit or an Angel, they are capable of giving you a lower role or another well administered curse- no matter how upset you are.

Spirits and Angels must never kill a Commoner out of unreasonable intention or they will face a punishment from The Great Unknown itself


You do not steal food from a cub. They are a priority in pride. A Spirit or Angel cub must be treated the same as a Commoner cub

Commoners must support the pride with whatever role they are given, if they fail to do so they are automatically moved to a lower role

If an Angel or Spirit fight each other, the battle must be fought to the death

Lions, (regardless if they are Commons or Superior) choose to leave a pride and provide for themselves- are allowed to do so without facing attack from any other prides as they choose to be all alone

A Commoner and an Angel/Spirit successfully courting results in a hybrid cub, however the cub ends up with the power of the father.
(If the father is a commoner the cub has no powers, if the Father is an Angel of fate, the cub is granted the Angels powers, it is impossible for a cub to contain mixed powers. )

Now let's continue shall we?
Where we left off. Agaeti had created a strange source, evil.
Evil became the body of another feline, Indavea.
When Agaeti was satisfied with the world that had been set, she decided there needed to be a basic form of morality- on what was wrong and what wasn't- thus creating the universal rules and other senses of justice instilled into a lion at birth.
Agaeti felt a strange sense of love towards Indavea, and would often bring flowers to the stunning lioness as a gift of courtship- Agaeti was hopelessly in love with Indavea.
Together they created many lions to fit into the roles of the Spirits and Angels that were named,
However Indavea never saw what love was, she never understood what Agaeti wanted from her and only saw fit to destruction, ultimately starting a fight with Agaeti- the first conflict of the world.
One afternoon, during a blazing sunset on a walk with Agaeti, Indavea felt a strange cold urge. Up ahead, there was a white fawn with brown spots drinking the water out of a pond.
Indavea walked up to the deer, and beckoned the fawn to come closer with a cold smile.
Agaeti, settling down on the sand, watched the fawn as it stumbled over to Indavea.
She then closed her eyes, and started drifting off to sleep.

An awful screech startled her awake instantly- “What are you doing?” Agaeti called out to Indavea in absolute horror.
Indavea was beginning to rip apart the innocent deer- purposely putting the creature through agony and torture, Indavea sinked her teeth into the creatures throat and grinned as the fawn choked and suffocated on its own blood as it desperately tried to get out of Indavea’s grip- Indavea then proceeded to slit open its stomach with a claw and slowly rip the fawn’s intestines out before it let out a shrill and finally suffocated to death.
Indavea let out a chuckle as she dropped the lifeless fawn and groomed her bloody fur clean.
Agaeti, angered beyond understanding, cursed Indavea for bringing the first intentional murder into the world.
The curse was said with so much power- Agaeti’s fur turned into a blinding white and the surrounding plants charred instantly, where regret slowly formed on her face.
She couldn't remember the curse she had said out loud- the words instantly disappeared from her mind and started taking place.
Indavea’s fur turned into a solid ink black from the curse, her pupils disappeared and her wings painfully charred as she screeched in agony. The beginning of evil was cursed, and Indavea could no longer speak, making her a useless Angel of Fate.
The first, Fallen Angel of Desire came to be.

However Agaeti was still desperate to reconnect the love she had for Indavea, she seized her and faced her stone cold black eyes.
But Indavea, being created the way she was since the beginning, tore Agaeti’s eyes out and rejected the remaining love Agaeti had for her.
As Agaeti let go and grabbed her face in agony- Indavea fled like a coward until she could no longer run.

Indaeva tried to curse the rest of the existing Spirits and Angels but she couldn't due to her lost voice. Using a tactic from the Angels of Lust, she set up a spell- so that when she killed herself the energy of her remaining power could be used into the pre-written curse she had etched into the ground.
Indavea carried out her task, using the blood on her paws from Agaeti she smeared the blood on an enchanted blade with it, and drove it through her heart.

Indavea turned into a horrifying broken mirage with a torn canine face, an eternal spirit. Craving respect from the beings around her. It is said that Indavea desires praise and murder, and will destroy anything to receive the respect she deserves. Any who dishonor her name are put through suffering so horrible The Great Unknown must come down from the stars and put them to peace.
The curse Indavea set in question? The beginning of Commoners. Indavea had split half of the Angels and Spirits into powerless and useless creatures.

Only then did Agaeti realize her mistake in letting evil have a chance.
She mumbled,
“I Opened the gate, I will not see my fate. Killing is killing and murder is murder. I have ruined it all.”

Some of you ask, how could The Great Unknown let this happen?
Now let me remind you, The Great Unknown doesn’t speak, it simply protects through its blessings, the spirit is incapable of emotion and is full of eternal mystery. The Great Unknown might love its creation, but it simply does not understand romantic love, sadness, or anger. It can only sense suffering and injustice.
