You step out from a barrier of tall grass, gazing at the long river in front of you. After glancing around for a few moments, you step forward and crouch down, lapping gently at the surface. For a brief moment, everything is silent, the only noise the distant chirping of locusts. Until your hear a twig snap. You freeze, ears twitching as you scent the air. There is a lion watching you. No, not a lion. A lot of lions. You realise this as your hear more footsteps, about 5. Your gaze falls upon the river, where you see the reflection of lioness glaring back at you. Your claws unsheathe, though the lioness notices this. With a flick of her tail, more lionesses emerge from the reeds. "You are trespassing on the territory of Adleio and their lionesses. Sheathe your claws, then stand and turn" You do as she says and turn, studying the strangers. There are five, including the one whom spoke, and you also notice two younger ones crouched among the grass, their eyes wide. You share a few words with them, and are granted permission to stay, for now. They then turn and pad off, with you eagerly following them, ears perked. They lead you to a clearing dotted with caves and three large sleeping males, whom must be the king and the sub males. You watch the lionesses drop the zebra they held among some scraps and leftovers, and then vanish into a cave. You sigh and turn back, thinking over your next decision.
Notes: The names used for my lions may not be accurate to the meaning I gave them (I got them mostly from Google, tbh), so if any of the names are incorrect of offensive, please let me know. I also came up with a few on my own that don't come from any language in particular (aka, they aren't even real names, just random words I came up with)
I try to make sure all my lionesses are available for reverse breeding. However, please note that most of them are dirty.
Timeline:
10/05/2022- Abana claims the territory as his own, choosing Ebele as his queen.
22/09/2022- Ebele retires. Abana chooses Nomalanga as his new queen.
10/10/2022- Nomalanga retires. Abana doesn't choose a new queen.
13/10/2022- Abana retires. Ashanti is the new king. He chooses Zalika as his queen
06/01/2022- Ashanti retires. Noctis is the new king. He chooses Noella as his queen.
13/02/2023- Noctis retires early. Adleio is the new ruler. They choose Keilani as their queen.
