The Pride Was Originally Run By King Stizak, Ketani’s Father.
Stizak Was A Thick, Cream-Pelted Lion, With The Dullest Possible Eyes.
King Stizak Wasn’t Hated, He Wasn’t Feared, And He Wasn’t Very Well Known, But He Played His Part, Hunted Fairly, Patrolled Fairly, He Was A Very Calm And Merciful Lion.
However, A Rumour Had Been Spread About King Stizak And The Rest Of His Pride, Who Had Remained Nameless During This Time, (We’ll Get To That Soon.)
One Day, Those Rumours Got So Bad That The Once Nameless, Unknown Lion Had Become The Talk Of Every Pride, INCLUDING Prey And Other Carnivores.
Stizak Decided Enough Was Enough.
He Took His Colony, A Hefty Stock Of Food And His Dignity, Leaving Those Lands Behind.
The Colony Walked For What Had Seemed Like Ages, Stizak Stopped The Lions, Cubs And Lionesses In A Damp, Tall-Grassed Space, In The Middle Of The Savannah.
Stizak Gave A Knowing Nod, Leaving The Pride Whilst He Went Off To Find A Water Source.
Stizak Had A Gut Feeling That He Was Being Watched, So He Continuously Glanced Around Until His Dull Gaze Became Soft, He Looked Terrified..
His Eyes Had Come Across A.. Pitch Black Lion With A Spiked, And As Equally Black Mane. This Lion Wasn’t Ordinary, It Looked.. Spectral.
It’s Pelt Was Splattered Reds And Whites, In Turn Making A Seperate Pattern.. A SYMBOLIC Pattern. Stizak Realised This, As Did He Realise A Harrier Hawk, With The Same Patterning And Ghostly Figure As This Lion, Flying Rings Around Him. He Grew Unsettled. This Ghostly Figure, And What He Only Assumed To Be His Pet Bird, Walked Quietly.. Hell, Hovered, Quietly To Him…Stizak Shut His Eyes, Speaking In A Hushed Mumble..: “ENMITY, NEVER FEAR THY.”..
