Far to the east lies a lion pride shunned by one of the very entities that gave life to this world — the Sun. In times long past, this pride was one of many united by misguided duty. They were instruments of aggression, aiding to drive the Primals to the brink of extinction. Now, the Sun has cast his disapproval upon this pride. A perpetual shadow looms over their once-prosperous land, and the lions find themselves haunted by the repercussions of their ancestors' choices. The remaining lions of the Running Dreams pride are left to navigate a world that has turned its divine gaze away from them. A world where lions keep joining and being born with abnormalities beyond their explanation...
