After the devastation done by the floods, King Niobium was left with a lioness and two cubs. They were all that was left of his massive pride. When the drought hit, prey became plentiful for the evil king and his pride grew. The whole pride now has a taste for human, but how long will it last? Niobium is getting old and has already selected his heir, a young male by the name of Maximum. (9-16-15) But after months Maximum wasn't quite the right heir. Niobium began to consider his other options, two more little males. One named Feather, whom Maximum considers plain girly, and Tortien, a small male and the youngest of the three. As this was happening the pride was slowly growing. More lions were joining and more were being born. Old Niobium hadn't kicked the bucket yet, so he would produce as many lions as he could before he did die. A heiress is still in question too. King Niobium has left that choice up to Devastation. The little cub had grown up well, and under the close watch of Niobium. He is debating on her rank, but it will probably be either Queen or Duchess.

6-14-17: After the death of Niobium, Tortien has taken over. He is a fit young king, and leads the pride a bit naively.

03-14-21: A new male Anaheim takes over the pride.

09-25-22: Meliorae took over from Heres, and now his offspring Marsontine is next in line for the throne. Meliorae is the first mutated lion to rule these lands, and certainly won't be the last. The pride has become classier since his reign began; their genetics taken into account before they were allowed to join. Meliorae has prepared plenty of clean lionesses from good heritages for his offspring's reign.

12-16-2023: Marsontine has kept the pride in check since it was passed to them, collecting and producing more mutants than the pride has ever seen before. Their regal attitude uplifted the pride to a higher standard. They are now preparing to retire, carefully training their new heir.
