~The Swamp Witch~
~Lilith stares into her fire. She sees them. Shadows dancing among the flames. Telling her stories of the past, the present and what has not come to be. The wind pulls at her hood as she watches the flames.

“Good. Very good.” Her voice is a soft purr as she smiles. “The light bringer is preparing. We must too. It's not every day a king dies. We must aid our young ward in passing souls from one vessel to the next. Our young friend may not have the strength to do it all on his own”. She keeps pacing around the cave gathering dried herbs and bits of bones and odd jars of different colored liquids. Some she picks up and places back down; others she takes.


“Come. I said we haven't got much time left. Move your scales, Ouroboros!” She barks out, stands and allows a thick python to climb down from its perch and coil around her. She grabs her bag and walks carefully through her swamp.
