Raygar moved into his territory due to him being chased off from his original pride by his mom. A snarky lion by nature Raygar wanted somewhere far from other lions, and dangers associated with being out on his own. After coming to a water hole, he chose the green savannah around it as his turf, fighting off any and all other males in the area.
