The Silentblood pride is a relatively small pride that has carved out their place in the marshlands. They have a reputation as fierce and formidable fighters, though they don't actively seek out conflict. They value strength and loyalty above all else, and anyone who wishes to join their pride must prove their worth and earn their place through skill and determination.

Cubs must be a certain age (one year and four months) before they’ll be required to go through the trial which will decide if they’ve earned their place in the pride. It’s not life threatening to them of course. The adult loins and lionesses that join later on in life, also go through a similar trial that has been adjusted to suit their age.

The pride lives under the king’s safety and care, and in return they hunt or are brood mothers unless they have a cause to which they cannot be: disability which physically enables them or too old to fulfil their roles anymore.

To ensure the welfare and safety of the pride members, the founder of the pride, Silver’trail, had made are six simple rules that have been passed long after his death and will continue to be. All pride members learn these rules as soon as they’re old enough to start their training, or for the pride members that join as adults, they learn upon arrival in the pride.


•Rule one•
Under no circumstances will a lion or lioness treat another member of the pride unfairly. They are all here to survive and thrive.

•Rule two•
It is the King’s job to make sure that no one goes hungry. If the hunting parties were unable to bring back enough food, the king will give the pride member(s) in need his food and he’ll go exploring, if he cannot find food for himself once the pride has been fed, he will go hungry until the next opportunity for him to eat arises. A King cannot lead the pride alone, so after a few months of kingship, the king will choose his partner that will lead alongside him. The king holds his title until his death upon gaining it, and he will teach his successor his ways of looking after the pride.

•Rule three•
If a cub is unsuccessful in earning their place among the pride, they’re still treated with respect. The mother will be able to say her proper goodbye to her child and the cub will be given a proper meal to take with that that will last for the first few days. The cub will also have its chance to say goodbye to friends and mentors before they’re sent off from the pride. If an adult doesn’t succeed in the trail, it gets a chance to say goodbye to its friends before being sent off. Those who do not succeed are not talked about badly.

•Rule four•
To decrease the chances of inbreeding, the king and queen can only have two cubs maximum that remain in the pride, yes they can have more then two but the ones that don’t pass the test are cast out into the wild, or sometimes sold.

•Rule five•
A king doesn’t necessarily have to have royal blood, all that truly matters is the king has had the experience of a warrior, and is willing to put the pride before theirselves.

•Rule six•
If the chosen lioness to be Queen is not interested in the king or already has a lover, than, if the former Queen is still alive, she will continue her duties: Make patrol parties, ensure that all pride members are healthy and help lionesses give birth, and be the king’s guidance. When a new Queen has been selected, she will take on these roles, and the former Queen, if still alive, is able to retire and rest in her final years.
