One by one taking the burning essence from another being to fuel her own. Growing stronger with every whisper until she knew no one would dare defy her. No one would dare say they could best her might.

Everytime some Hero, attempting to make a name for themselves, showed up she would strip them of everything. Their spirits. Their strength. Growing ever more powerful. Like a plague or a darkness Rigor Mortis spread across the land. Taking in lions who shared her own twisted dreams and views.

All would have fallen to the darkness if not for one hero. One pride.
