Tokki's Den

The sound of water rushes in your ears, beyond that you can faintly make out the cries of cubs- and perhaps the rough tongue of their mothers, gliding gently between ears. As you take a step forward you find yourself treading in water. Mud covers your paws and it is only then you hear the slosh of water, indicating a very large lion is making his way towards you. You've seen enough, time to scram!


Inside this territory lays a masterfully crafted den, where the denmothers and their young tend to reside. Their king rests atop it, guarding the entrance like a hawk. Surrounds them is the river, encircling them as if they were an island. A tad dangerous some would think. The river is known for it's powerful currents and ability to sweep away, lets say, unwanted visitors?

Do not be fooled by the denmothers whose full attention lay with their cubs, for lurking nearby are the strongest links in the pride; lionesses, resting just below their pride king- ready to leap into battle at any given moment.
