Kobrin IV's Den

The Thornewood Pride was established by Kobrin, first of his name, the White King. The pride lives among the fertile grasses along the bank of a great river, cubs growing strong on abundant prey. Though the White King has now passed, any and all who assume the mantle of King adopt the name Kobrin in his honor- a pledge to provide and protect the pride as one. The Thornewood Pride is a kind and just pride, who seek to help others in need and leave the world a kinder place than they found it.

Anyone is welcome, as long as they have not come to the pridelands to hurt or maim- these characters will be swiftly seen off by the Kobrin himself, with his loyal lionesses at his back. But those who are lost, or weary, are more than welcome to join the pride for a meal, in exchange for a tale or two for the cubs.

The current Kobrin is a strong and wild looking male, his mane full and teeth long with a short tail that amused the lionesses no end at first. Of all the primal Kings who have ruled before, Kobrin IV is the largest and most savage looking by far. Some of the lionesses in the pride are a pure white- great granddaughters of the first king who are now protected by the current Kobrin. To the North is another pride, Woodthorne, whose original king Klimt was raised by the White King and set out on his own. Still the prides keep an alliance, and woe upon any who seek to attack either pride- their kind natures will not suffer evil.
