Malor's Den

Formed by King Graal The Kind, first of his name. The pride is ruled by three queens by his side; The Mother, The Defender, and The Speaker.
The Mother's duty is to be first among broodmothers. She watches over not only the cubs, but the mothers as well. It is her responsibility to make nests, monitor health, and oversee the nursery.
The Defender is the not always the strongest lioness physically, but she will almost always have the strongest force of will. It is her duty to provide for the pride, to organize hunting parties, to ration the food stores in times of scarce prey. It is also the Defenders duty to protect the pride against outside threats.
The Speaker offers wisdom to the pride, and advice to the King. She is given the task of running the day to day operations of the pride, and to speak for the King in his absence. Not only does she speak, but she listens. The Speaker listens to the concerns of the pride, dealing with the minor issues and bringing major ones to the King, along with suggestions. She will also gather information on the surrounding prides, or potential threats such as roaming hyena packs.
