The ancient leonine pride of Duskfall were once loyal followers of Vihaurus, the Dirovyan god of the sun. They fought at his side valiantly through the war of the ancients, serving loyally a god that did not care for them, serving him well until he betrayed them and left them behind to flee.
After his imprisonment, to atone for serving their cruel, warmongering god, the pride of Duskfall now guard the lands under which he is locked away, their watchful eyes keeping close track of everything that happens and keeping anyone who may threaten the seal keeping Vihaurus at bay.
