Your thoughts are interrupted by a loud, angry roar, and claws sinking in to your rump. After a brief struggle, your attacker fights you down to the ground and on your back. There stands a sleek yet powerful lion with massive, shimmering wings. His tail lashes, and it looks like he’s recently made a kill. Your whole rump hurts from his claws and teeth.

“State your business here.” He snarls. After a brief, curt conversation, you tell him your name, and he sneers.

“You may call me Paradox.”
