After Rust-EZE led his human followers to Morikuning, the remote Valley of Kings, things quickly began to take a turn for the worst. It started innocently... humans and their kin began to move in, finding exciting opportunity in the fertility of its fields and the flourishing plant life. They built settlements, eager to work with the local flora and fauna to foster a bolstering community.
However, Beckett's curse leaves no survivors. In retaliation for the perversion of its lands, and the severing of its laws, plague after plague swept across the incoming people - and the lions, by extension. In this tumultuous period, lions must always beware these curse-borne disasters brought by their own lands... lands that once sheltered and protected them.
After the brutal, bloody death of the aging Rust-EZE, the United Prides of Astelith - only several years ago in a resplendent golden age - threatens to shatter once again... can soothsayer Lokolama pick up the pieces?
