The Kingdom of Sandere
The Kingdom of Sandere is less spread out than Tsartia, with the kingdom residing at the base of the Thanaka Mountains. To the north of the mountains lies the city of Kaldoon, the City of Scholars. Many famous scholars have spent several name days here studying ancient texts from all over the world. Lush forests surround the castle and town, a small lake in the center. The trees allow for good cover, and a feeling of connection to the old Gods. It is illegal and punishable by death to hurt the trees here. Olmetta is the largest island off of the mainland but it’s the least inhabited due to its hostile weather and citizens. The mountains provide the only coverage on this barren island, and the lions here live in dens carved into the mountainsides themselves. It is a harsh life here - not for the faint of heart. Erato was named after a lioness who served her kingdom well for many years. It is a desert island full of kind-hearted people and strange creatures. The Isles of Ashme include a densely populated large island, as well as three smaller, sparsely inhabited islands. The people of Ashme are loud and fun-loving. The lions here have lots of markings and bold personalities. This cramped town is the main port and hub of trading. The village east of The Thanaka Mountains and right on the coast is a fishing town, and is where all of the warriors spend their first few years of training. The Chena Wastelands are barren with little to no growth, and if you squint hard enough, three mountains that harbor a hopeless town. The people here are violent and gruff, more criminals than good people. If you are royalty, you don’t say that here - they’d sooner off you and leave you in a ditch than bow down to you.
