Maputo's Den

This is my only account, 3 hrs ahead of Lioden. I also play Wolvden (#9204). Regarding my avatar, it's a picture of my late dog. Please do not steal it!

Your daily exploration today takes you to the shore of a lake. The water is so clear, you can see right to the bottom. As you walk along, you notice the scent of a group of lions coming from a stand of trees near the shore. It must be the den of another pride. You stop, not sure if you should get closer and risk being attacked. But you decide to keep going when two lionesses appear from the trees and walk down to drink from the lake. After a few laps, one of them, an thoth-black beauty, looks up and notices you. She nudges her companion, a stunning heavenly-cream lady. They watch you strutting, trying to impress them, and they giggle at you. They don't seem too interested in flirting, but they wouldn't mind talking, so you settle down beside them.

"Hi, I'm Mombasa," says the black one. "And this is my little sister, Lusaka."

"Hiya," says the cream one.

"This is Adamu Pride. We're one of the kindest prides around," says Mombasa. "We don't chase anyone, especially not cubs."

"We do sell them though," says Lusaka.

"Our brother, King Maputo, brings home NCLs every day to sell for 2SB each," says Mombasa.

"Which is good because they really deserve good homes," says Lusaka.

"We sell things cheaply on our branch, so you should check it out," says Mombasa.

"You can check us out too," says Lusaka.

"Yeah, all the sisters here do reverse breeding," says Mombasa. "1000SB for special bases. Common bases are less."

"Be prepared to pay up," says Lusaka.

"We should be going now," says Mombasa, nudging her sister again. "We have hunting to do. You're welcome to look around, and maybe read our pride lore. But watch out for Maputo. He's territorial."

"See ya' 'round," says Lusaka as the two ladies trot off towards the trees.
