SHORT MEETING STORY - INTRODUCTION

You explore too far, intruding in the squelchy soil of the marshlands, a low breeze, slowly whistling by, combing through your fur. Stopping at a dead end between Rocky Hills, you suddenly feel a godly presence behind you...

Seconds later, a warm huff of air on your neck, sends cold shivers through your body. It was almost like an ethereal beast was behind you. But how? You heard not a sound, which was impossible for any creature.

You're quick to spin around, instantly catching a glimpse of the glowing, orange, serpent eyes of a mysterious, sparkling animal stalking you. The creature huffs gently, smoke coming from their nostrils. Was it a buffalo? A rhino...? You could feel your legs trembling just from the sight of its eyes, almost as if they had the power to rip your soul from you with a mere stare.

It suddenly startles you, with a deep, chest rumbling chuckle, successfully making you flinch and forcing you to take second thoughts about entering this land. He steps into the light, standing tall on his front legs with a look of interest, and curiosity.

The first thing you notice was his fur. It was the most gorgeous fur you've ever seen, sparkling head to toe with tiny glittering stars. It was a lion, but with glowing serpent eyes. He was dark blue, with shades of soft pink and purple dusting his figure. The beads and accessories danced along his body, softly jingling in the gentle breeze. How is this possible?! Was this a God?! This lion was completely untouched, as if no one dared to attack him, not a single scar on his body what-so-ever.

Even though he looked like a being that had fallen from the galaxy stars, he had a faint scent of play toys and cubs... a lion who took great care of his family. He sighs gently, his serpent eyes dragging over your figure, almost like a scientist studying a specimen.

"It seems yet another traveller has gotten lost." He mutters, his deep, earthly voice making your ears twitch softly with pleasure at the sound.
He smiles softly, approaching you, his glowing gaze, traveling up and down your being at least twice. His tail gently sways behind him. His aura sends us tingle traveling down your back and a warm sensation fills your chest...

{I've never felt this feeling before.} You thought.

"This is the lands of EZKLI, for which I take over now." He stands full and powerful, yet gentle and assuring, if that was even possible. His sparkling interstellar fur danced in the breeze which dusted over the land from time to time. He looked... as if it were impossible to imagine.
"My name is Nebulae. Nebulae the 2nd." He introduces himself, refusing to take his eyes off you, as if yearning to be a part of who you were.
His eyes stare into yours as he pawed closer to your frozen stature. For whatever reason, your body was refusing to move, as if this was your destiny. To meet him.

"Come now," He murmurs, gently nudging your neck with his soft nose.
"The edge of her lands are this way."
He started pawing away with sylphlike moves, before slowing down, turning his head to glance over his shoulder at you, waiting for you to follow.

{This...must have been the feeling of charisma...} You concluded, gulping.
You finally force your body to move, your trembling figure following him blindly, with a stupid, coy smile on your face.
