Curiosity has tempted you astray from the light of life, and into this desolate, dark land. You heard of the quote, curiosity killed the cat, and in this moment, you really felt like that cat.
How you got here, you're not too certain, all you really know is that you were exploring, and couldn't help but notice a spire rock in the distance, shrouded in dark, thundering clouds. Maybe, it appeared that way for a reason.
As you carefully pick your way through dried and dead thorn bushes and crumbling bones, you look up to see a... pride? You had to take a moment to think. A pride. Out here. So many questions started to reel through your head, how are they out here, how is there so many lions, where's the pride leader? You could feel your body trembling in fear. Your heart raced, and it felt like the air suddenly turned so thick, that you started to suffocate.
You took a deep, shaky and painful breath. The air was bitterly cold in your lungs, and you started to head towards the pride. Maybe, someone could help you?
you were quickly stopped by a large primal male. His ice cold gaze stared into your own, unwavering. It suddenly felt like you were in an icecube.
"Intruder. You are entering the territory of Thanatos Vladmir and his pride. What brings you to this place?" The male said with a husky voice. You could notice that there were clouds of his breath.
You explain why you came here, feeling more and more embarrassed as the male continued to stare at you, like he could see into your soul. "Hmm. You should turn back, the leader will be displeased to see an outsider."
A sudden, hoarse voice echoed nearby. "I've already taken notice. I may be heartless, but I still can show hospitality to outsiders," the male said to the other before looking at you, "I am Thanatos Vladmir, the leader of the pride that lives here." The male dismissed the other. Comparing the two, Thanatos and the other were nearly identical, only Thanatos was much larger. "That was Wraith, my son. I apologize if he was unkind to you." The large primal said to you. He reeked of old blood. How terrifying.
You told him it was okay, and that you were only curious about these lands and why his pride lived out here.
"This place, well, it is a long story. This is paradise, or, was supposed to be. This part of the lands fell into ruin and decay, a black plague of sorts that took over this land many years ago. This blight, the cause unknown, wiped out all life here; especially the lunar flowers. It is foretold, that when the world ends, paradise will open here, and all animals who can find it here will be able to reach such a place. That is, if you have the sense to find it. I am sure you can't even smell the faint scent of lunar flowers here." You take a sniff, and surely enough, not a single hint of this flower. i am too lazy to finish this
