[King] Attila's Den

Dry grasses, four dens and a large water hole to drink. This is where the Pride of the Rising Sun resides. Here a few explanations about this Pride:

And here are a few explanations about the Ranks and when a lion reaches the next age:

Ranks:

King: A lion who leads the pride, checks the borders and tries to defend the pride if they're in danger.

Queen: The King's mate. She is one of the high ranks and is allowed to only make cubs with the king. She usually is also the Lead Huntress and she's taking care for the other lionesses of the Pride.

Heir: This male will be the king after the current one dies. He is usually the son of the royal pair, but can be another male lion. At the age of 1 year he learns from the king what his duties are and when he becomes an adult, he can do a border patrol everyday. He cannot breed with other lionesses until he takes over the throne.

Heiress: A lioness who is betrothed to the Heir. When he becomes king, then she'll be the next queen.

Second in Command (SiC): The deputies of the king. They will lead the pride if their king has to go on a journey or is sick. They're not allowed to mate with the pride lionesses.

Healer: A lion or lioness who tends the wounded and ill pride members. They are allowed to take one of their cubs as their follower when they're too old to fullfill their duties. But only one healer can have a cub at a time and only if they have a fully trained trainee.

Cubsitters: Lionesses who take care of cubs at the age of 6 months. They mostly stay near the pride's den and look after the pride's cubs once they are weaned. They cannot fullfill their task as huntresses, but they are allowed to breed, even with outsiders.

Huntresses: Lionesses who makes sure the pride has enough prey. They're not allowed to mate with male lions outside their pride.

Breeders: Breeders have the same tasks as Huntresses, the only difference between these ranks is, that these lionesses can breed with males outside their pride.

Trainee: Lions over 1 Year. At this age, the male cubs usually chased off from the territory. Lionesses learn at this age to hunt and to take care of the pride.

Cubs: Lions under the age of 1 Year. They don't have to do any duties so they take their time to play and exploring their enviroment with their mothers. They have to stay in sight of the pride lionesses.

Elders: Lions and Lionesses at the age of 14 Years and older. Elder Lionesses won't be used to breed and they use their time to relax or telling the younglings stories.

Ancestors: Deceased Pride Members. They look over the pride from the skies of the ancestors.

Adolescents: 1-2 Years
Young Adults: 2-7 Years
Adults: 7-14 Years
Seniors: 14+ Years
