As you push away tall ferns and grasses, the scent of bountiful carcasses and water fill your nostrils. You make your way past the greenery and you're met with a pond, abundant with life. Many lionesses are gathered together while relaxing in the sun and bathing each other. Many are accompanied by certain insects.

With an awkward shuffle, you get many stares and whispers, until a tough looking female saunters toward you, flicking her stubby tail and beckoning you to follow. Her thick, dark pelt with her saber teeth peeking from her lips could intimidate anyone, but the way she looks at you and her mannerisms being subtle, you can tell she's gentle. As you observe the mutated lioness, she takes you to the ruler of this pride, and your gaze is met with theirs. The sleek king, who's surrounded by lovely insects, steps down from the stone he was laying on, struts up to you, and sizes you up.
