Far away, on a planet long since abandoned, a powerful and ruthless ruler reigned. Known only as Zama, she was notorious for her harshness and cruelty. She forced young cubs into labor and punished even her most loyal servants with brutal severity. Her reign was marked by mercilessness. In her quest for a successor, Zama sought a suitable mate to father a perfect, ruthless heir to her throne.

When her only daughter, Nyx, was born, Zama’s fury was palpable. She had hoped for a strong male to inherit her power. Regardless, she subjected Nyx to intense and grueling training, turning everyday tasks into severe trials. As Zama aged, she discovered a potion that could grant her daughter an extraordinarily long life.

In her sleep, Nyx was injected with this concoction by a servant, under Zama's orders. Nyx awoke the next morning without any memory of the injection, but soon noticed the unusual lack of tests and tasks imposed upon her. Though she questioned her mother, Zama remained tight-lipped.

Years later, as Zama lay on her deathbed, she summoned Nyx and revealed the truth. Not out of remorse but with a sense of twisted pride, Zama instructed Nyx to replicate the experiment with her own future heir. Nyx, who had only recently begun to cherish her mother’s company and develop trust, was devastated.

She raged at her mother, feeling betrayed and heartbroken. Zama whispered the potion’s components and instructions into Nyx’s ear before passing away, her heartbeat fading into silence. Grief-stricken, Nyx left her mother’s lifeless body and ascended to the throne.

Decades later, as the effects of the potion begin to wane and Nyx starts to age, she vows to lead her pride with unwavering dedication until her own final days, honoring the legacy of her long-forgotten mother.
