June Pride
The sun brings light to the June Pride. Light and life and the tread of paws as lionesses begin to explore. As cubs jump and play and train. Day brings the hustle of the marketplace as goods are bought and sold. Resources gathered and brought back to the horde of two prides that live and work as one. Feathers, rocks, and herbs are stored away as Alioss roams the land he shares with his brother Zykuno.
He rules when the sun shines high. When the birds sing in the light. All may come to him if they have need. All will be heard. Cubs train well under his watchful gaze. Guided and coached so they can join the hunting parties or aid in exploration. Lionesses thrive under the rule of sun and moon.
For you cannot have one without the other. As the brothers learned well.
Alioss always favored the light of day. The active life. He was the brother who could connect with the other prides, and the dancing colors along his furs showed this. He was the brother who kept the pride together, made sure trade flowed and thrived. But with the setting sun and rising moon, his time to run the pride comes to an end, and Zykuno rises in his stead.
