Pride Intro

After walking across the savannah for quite some time, you begin to hear the cheerful voices of lions. However, as you approach them, a lioness strolls up to you.

She introduces herself as Fawn, before calmly asking what business you have with the small Pride.

You state your intentions, and she nods.
“Follow me, then.” She purrs, her voice, you notice, strangely distant with a slight echo.


Reaching the Pride, you find it is smaller than the loud voices suggested, containing only a small amount of lions- at least, visibly.

Fawn flicks her tail around, before turning her gaze to a small cave with the skull of an elephant at the ‘doorstep’.

“If you wish to speak with Arrogance,” She faltered then, smile slipping, “Uh, Anchiale.” She paused again, looking flustered. “Sorry, Phthinoporon. So many kings! I get confused.”
She explains, nodding at the small cave.

She tips her head in the direction of another cave, this one considerably larger. “If you wish to see one of our members for whatever reason, head in there.”

Finally, she nods to the last cave, shaded by an acacia tree with lavender growing over and around the entrance. A small pond is nearby.
Fawn’s gaze saddens.
“The adoption centre. Head on in to see Shimmer, and pick up a new member for your pride.”

With that, you take a step towards one of the caves. You turn around, to ask Fawn one final question, but she’s gone.
