As you approach the lush cliffs of Garnets’' territory, you hear a coo of admiration somewhere to your right. Turning proudly, expecting to be fawned on by some awed lioness, the sight you're met with is.. less than you expected.
It's a lion alright, and they're certainly entranced, but not by you. A shiny gemstone rests between their paws. They claim their find, admiring it and slipping it into their leather bag. The lion is adorned with quite the collection of of shinies, (not to mention the fullness of their bag,) and you wonder if all of it was found and crafted by them.
Their eyes flicker up and find you, and the lion pauses, looking awkward and perhaps a bit embarrassed. They scamper off. Not the most charming welcome to the land, but alas, you're sure the king will be more chivalrous..
