Pride roles + brief explanation of them

Ruler (the protector and main decision maker of the pride.)
Queen (The main lioness and mate of the current lioness who is prioritized when it comes to breeding)
Heir (next in line for the ruler rank, usually chosen by the oldest lioness and the current ruler.)
Druid (the healer and the lioness in charge of making sure lionesses don't over hunt or destroy important resources.)
Captain (the leader of the warriors and fighters of the pride)
Guard (A male lion tasked with guarding young cubs and raising them with Broodmothers.)
Bard (a history keeper of the pride in charge of keeping the tales of the pride in the minds of every generation to come.)
Broodmothers (Lionesses who train young cubs and protect them alongside the males.)
Warriors (fighters of the pride tasked with protecting it's honor)
Hunters (Lionesses who are tasked with hunting for the pride)
Adolescents (Lions who are not old enough to fit into the roles listed above, usually working towards a specific role they wish to fill or be assigned.)

The Thundershock Pride's history

The Thundershock Pride was founded 32 years ago by a celestial lion known as Calcareous, who sacrificed his body to form the mountain the Thundershock Pride lives. Some still tell tales of Calcareous though his reign has long been lost to time.

The second known king to rule the Thundershock Pride was Igneous, a primal lion who had been taken in by Calcareous long ago. Igneous was quick to establish the pride's strength in war, attacking other nearby prides and driving them off their lands. The pride was split into two groups, lions who supported Igneous' rule and aggression, and those who wished to return to Calcareous' status quo.

The two groups were quick to fight, amidst the chaos Igneous' own daughter rose to strike him down, becoming the third Ruler of the Thundershock Pride, along with the current ruler.
