Current Pride Lore:

No matter how much time Azrael spent alone, those strange recollections would not go away, often making hasty judgments that didn't sound like her at all. The Immortal of Death acted out, breaking the balance between the living and the dead by killing far too many mortals who weren't ready for death. The dead were disturbed as the land they eternally rest in became overcrowded with unwanted souls.

In the midst of it, those who had passed away unwarranted managed to free themselves from the bonds that bound them to the underworld in order to flee back to the overworld. However, those who escape the grasp of the judge are severely punished. Spirits will roam the lands with a decomposing body, their eyes hollowed out, and their expressions a permanent snarl. These unfortunate souls are no longer themselves; they have been tainted and are here to exact revenge on those who have harmed them in the past.

To them, the Angel of Death is public enemy number one cuz she started it!!!!!

The harbingers of this land huddle for the first time in eternity, terrified of the new danger that threatens their home. A war against the dead has been unleashed.
